Dr Linda Smith PSWA is an award-winning figurative and portrait artist who was inspired initially, by her love of medieval art, specifically ecclesiastical stained glass windows and iconography, where artworks were used to educate people. Linda uses narratives to tell stories related to how we view, understand and care for the world around us. She uses her imagination and researches subject matter to create works that can be historical (e.g. Canterbury Tales), spiritual (e.g. Lady of the Heavens) or based on everyday life (e.g. Treasured Possessions).
