GLASS PAINTINGS

In 2002, Linda decided to change her career as a scientist and enrolled with the City Lit to study advanced techniques in glass. This was followed by a year in the studio with Kathy Shaw Urlich (recently deceased) and then two years postgraduate study at Central Saint Martins.  Since that time, she has undertaken commissions and exhibited widely. Linda is currently a council member of the Society of Women Artists (SWA) and exhibits regularly with them at The Mall Galleries, London.

Traditionally, painting on glass is associated with stained glass but Linda has developed her own techniques to create artworks that can be appreciated without the need for back lighting. Here is a selection of her glass artworks…..
