We live in times where how we relate and care for our environment and those that live within it has become a growing concern.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List of Threatened Species (IUCN Red List) is a critical indicator of the health of the world’s biodiversity. Currently, there are more than 169,000 species on the list, more than 47,000 species are threatened with extinction, mainly due to the impact humans have on the natural environment. Categories include: Extinct (EX), Extinct in the Wild (EW), Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN), Vulnerable (VU), Near Threatened (NT) and Least Concern (LC)
